Nigerian Army Graduate 3,439 Fresh Recruits, Set for Nationwide Deployment

 

No fewer than 3,439 fresh recruits don successfully graduate from the Nigerian Army Depot for Zaria, Kaduna State. The soldiers na members of the 89 Regular Recruit Intake, and dem complete six months of intensive military training before dem officially pass out.

The graduation ceremony take place on Friday during a colourful Passing Out Parade, where senior military officers and officials witness the end of the recruits’ training phase and their formal entry into the Nigerian Army.

Recruits Ready to Face Security Challenges

After dem complete training, the newly graduated soldiers go soon dey deployed to different parts of Nigeria, depending on operational needs. Their deployment come at a time when the country dey battle different security challenges, including insurgency, banditry, kidnapping, and other criminal activities.

Military sources say the addition of the new recruits go help boost manpower and improve the Army’s ability to respond quickly to both domestic and cross-border security threats.

Army Leadership Charges New Soldiers on Discipline

Information from the Nigerian Army show say the Chief of Army Staff (COAS), Lieutenant General Waidi Shaibu, use the occasion to remind the new soldiers about the importance of loyalty, discipline and professionalism as dem begin active service.

The Army leadership emphasise say the recruits don already go through tough physical, mental and tactical training to prepare dem for the realities of modern warfare. Dem also remind dem say military service require high level of commitment, courage and respect for rules.

According to the Army, the soldiers don now officially become part of a professional fighting force, trained to protect Nigeria’s territorial integrity and defend citizens against any form of threat.

Boost to Nigeria’s Military Strength

The Nigerian Army say the graduation of the 3,439 recruits represent a major boost to its manpower and operational strength. With security threats changing rapidly across the country, the Army believe say fresh recruits go help improve surveillance, response time and overall effectiveness on the field.

Military authorities also note say continuous recruitment and training remain part of long-term strategy to ensure the Army stay combat-ready and capable of handling emerging threats.

The Army also remind Nigerians say this graduation na part of an ongoing recruitment exercise. Earlier this year, a total of 6,195 soldiers from the 88 Regular Recruit Intake also graduate after completing their training.
