Pastor Jesugbemi Samuel, the Regional Overseer of MFM Southwest Region 42 for Akure, yarn this one on Tuesday during the MFM student leadership summit wey happen for Oyemekun Grammar School, Akure, for Ondo State.

He talk say:
I no fit talk plenty for the matter of returning schools to missionaries because we sef get our own schools, Mountain Top Nursery and Primary School, our secondary school, and university. Since dem dey under us as private schools, I no fit talk for other people own because I no sabi the details.
He still add say:
Return or no return, wetin we suppose focus on na how education fit build better society. Who own the school, government or mission, no be the main point. Na the impact of education matter pass.
For the summit, wey gather prefects from 30 secondary schools for the state, Pastor Samuel—wey also organise the programme—talk say na part of MFM mentorship plan to prepare young leaders with moral training, leadership skills and personal development.
He note say most school prefects for Naija dey learn their duties on the job, and he talk say this one no too good.

The programme cover 30 schools for Akure South LGA and Akure metropolis. “Every school bring three students and one teacher, but the host school, Oyemekun Grammar, get eight students present,” he talk.
Mrs. Mojisola Aribo, Chairman of the planning committee, talk say the idea come from the vision of the church General Overseer, Dr. Daniel Olukoya, wey always dey support leadership and spiritual development of young people. She talk say Dr. Olukoya don invest him time and resources to mentor teenagers and students to make dem become responsible leaders.
She add:
If parents fit allow their pikin learn from religious teachers, dem go get wisdom and knowledge, and this one go help build better leaders for society.
Dr. Akindele Ige, Administrative Secretary for Ondo State Ministry of Education, Science and Technology, hail the organisers, talk say the summit go get positive impact on students. He come reveal say government don start to return some schools to their original owners.
“For Ondo State, we don return two schools already, Aquinas College and St. Louis Grammar School, and dem dey do well. Government still dey watch and follow the process,” na weting he talk.
