The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board don release fresh guideline wey go guide candidates for the 2026 UTME and Direct Entry registration. According to the notice, every step wey candidate go take suppose clear, correct and done with the right details.
The first step wey JAMB hammer on na the creation of Profile Code. Before anybody fit even start registration, dem must confirm say their National Identification Number, their email, and their O’Level or A’Level results dey the same for all platforms. JAMB warn say once person send him NIN go 55019 or 66019 to get Profile Code, the code no go change again. Everything wey dey NIMC record go automatically follow the candidate enter JAMB system, so any mistake from NIMC side suppose correct early before registration start.
After person don get Profile Code finish, the next move na to buy E-PIN and begin official registration. JAMB warn candidates make dem no buy PIN from random people or unofficial sources. According to the Board, the PIN must come from correct places like banks, approved online vendors or accredited CBT centres. When candidate reach the centre, JAMB advise make dem collect the right registration form, fill am well and check am again before the operator finalize anything. The Board emphasize say small mistake for biodata fit cause big wahala later.
JAMB still drop some important tips wey fit help candidates avoid delay. Dem talk say anybody wey wan change name, date of birth, gender or state of origin must go NIMC do am before JAMB registration start. Phone number and email wey you use must belong to only you because JAMB no dey allow people share contact.
