Edo Student Die for Motorcade Accident After Final Exam Celebration

One final-year student of Ambrose Alli University (AAU), Ekpoma, don lose him life after motorcade accident during celebration for finish of final exams. The young man and some of him colleagues waka enter highway on Monday, shortly after their signing-out activities, to celebrate their graduation.

Eyewitnesses yarn say the graduates dey drive recklessly and no follow basic road safety rules during their celebration. The wahala happen when the deceased try overtake one moving truck but crash into stationary vehicle wey dey for road

Accident Confirmed by FRSC

On Tuesday, the Sector Commander of Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Edo Command, Cyril Mathew, confirm say one person die while five others suffer injuries wey different in severity.

Matthew talk say:

The students, after dem finish their last paper, carry motorcade waka enter road. During the movement, one of them try overtake another vehicle but ram into stationary truck.

Reckless Driving Na Main Problem

Mathew warn all students and youths make dem prioritize safety, especially when dem dey celebrate post-examination. He advise say celebrations for campus no suppose turn to wahala for road.

Him still talk say:

Celebrate inside campus area. Make una no forget say life still dey after graduation

According to him, many young people dey rush to show excitement or dey feel like dem don finish school, but them no dey reason say road accidents fit happen. The FRSC officer call on all graduates to exercise caution and dey mindful of their own life and life of others.

Students’ Celebration Gone Wrong
